Research & Coursework Help

At Lavery Library, we connect you with the resources you need in order to complete your assignments.

We have ebooks, books, articles, streaming films, and other specialized resources for students.

Ask Us!

It can be helpful to talk with a librarian at any stage of your research process.

Ask us about finding articles, books, and other sources; citing your sources; and more. Quick questions or big research projects—just ask!

You can also get quick help by emailing a research question to all of the librarians at libraryreference@sjfc.edu.

Tip for Transfer Students

We love working with transfer students at the Research Help Desk. Here's a tip we've heard from past students: visit Who’s My Librarian and find the name and contact information for your major’s librarian. Email them and ask to meet.

You can write: “I’m a transfer student, and I’d like to meet in order to learn more about the library’s resources for my major.” We love hearing from our students.
