Beloit Poetry Journal: Coming soon in print. Also available electronically (see below). 

Bomb:  Contains in-depth interviews between artists working across genre and media. Also available electronically(see below). 

BWR/Black Warrior Review: Oldest continuously-run literary journal produced by grad students, publishing fiction, nonfiction, poetry, comics, and art. 

Conjunctions: Publishes innovative fiction, poetry, criticism, drama, art and interviews by both emerging and established writers.

Creative Nonfiction: Contains short stories, essays, prose, interviews with writers and editors, pieces on creative nonfiction, etc. 

DRAFT: the Journal of Process: Stories, first drafts, interviews with authors. Interested in techniques, approaches, and "everything that goes into crafting a great piece of creative writing." 

Granta: Showcases "the world's best writers on to one aspect of the way we live now." 

Ninth Letter: From  U. Illinois Urbana-Champagin. Work published in Ninth Letter frequently selected for awards (Pushcart Prize, Best American Nonrequired Reading, etc.).

Poetry: poetry, commentary news notes, and lists of recently published books published by the Modern Poetry Association. 

Rattle: poetry and interviews with contemporary poets. 

River Teeth: Journal of nonfiction narrative: creative nonfiction, narrative reportage, essays and memoir, and critical essays. 

Seneca Review: Innovative poetry & lyric essays. Also features poetry in translation.

Yellow Medicine Review: Stories, essays, poems, scholarly articles, reviews, short plays, novel excepts, letters, and more related to Indigenous Literature, Art, and Thought.

Bomb: Delivers the artist's voice through in-depth interviews between artists working across genre and media -- collaborations that reveal their ideas, concerns, and creative processes through carefully developed dialogue -- now and for posterity. 1981- present (3 year delay) here. 

Beloit Poetry Journal: Includes work from new writers, publishes reviews, & includes occasional chapbooks. 2003-present here. 

Fourth Genre: Publishes personal essays, memoirs, literary journalism, and personal criticism1999-present here
