NEW! Get free digital access to many textbooks.

Some publishers are making their digital textbooks available for free right now. You can check to see if your course's textbooks are now available, and faculty, you can share this information with your students.

Free Digital Textbooks

Free Textbooks via RedShelf

Many textbooks for Fisher classes are now free at RedShelf.

RedShelf is providing free student access to many digital textbooks through May 25. Publishers include Hackett, McGraw Hill, Cengage, Elsevier, American Psychological Association, Oxford University Press, Pearson, Wiley, and many others. Students sign up for an account, and can access up to 7 digital textbooks.

Barnes & Noble Textbooks via VitalSource

Thousands of free digital textbooks have been unlocked by Barnes & Noble. Access them via VitalSource.

  1. Visit
  2. Log-in, or create a Bookshelf account with your Fisher email address.
  3. Search for your textbooks by title. (limit 7 textbooks)
