Individual Research Help

Lavery Library is committed to being supportive and responsive to our students’ needs through individual research help. Research help happens through scheduled and unscheduled consultations at the Research Help Desk.

Lavery Librarians spent over 650 hours in individual research consultations last year (2018-2019)!

Lavery Staff love answering your questions, but we answer more than just “do you have a stapler?” For the past 6 years we’ve been tracking how long we spend answering research questions of all types.

Library Instruction Sessions

Every semester librarians collaborate with faculty to customize library instruction for their classes. In addition to classes, we also lead workshops and library orientations. Librarian-led instruction happens all year round: fall and spring semesters and summer sessions, connecting with all schools and students at all levels.
