Bioinformatics: ViralZone

A growing repository of the vast array of databases and online tools in the field of biology and it's sub-disciplines. Includes extended descriptions of each resource and links to tutorials.

ViralZone

ViralZone is a collection of information on over 700 viruses. The database is searchable base on the viruses Baltimore Classification, host organism, and virion type. Each entry contains information the genome and proteome of the virus, the viral replication process, the natural host and interactions, the known diseases it causes, and access to reference strain information.
