RRLC Access Cards

What is the RRLC Access Card Program?

RRLC Access Cards are: of a variety of services developed by the Rochester Regional Library Council to help library users get the information resources they need.

...issued by a St. John Fisher College Librarian or Staff. RRLC does not issue access cards to individuals.The Access Card may be used at participating libraries.  For a list of participating libraries, choose from status tabs above.

...issued to eligible users needing extensive use of other participating libraries only after the home library’s resources have been fully utilized. RRLC Access Cards are not designed for use when interlibrary loan would suffice.

...available to current St. John Fisher College faculty, graduate students and undergraduates.  The card is non-transferable.


Registering for an RRLC Access Card

All Fisher students, staff and faculty are eligible for an RRLC Access Card*.

*Faculty do not need approval before being issued an RRLC Access Card. 

Applications are approved only after the resources of the issuing library have been exhausted.  During the reference interview with a librarian, the following options should be discussed before issuing a card:

  • St. John Fisher College does not have the item OR an appropriate replacement
  • St. John Fisher College CANNOT get the item though our ILL system


  • St. John Fisher College CANNOT get the item in a time frame allotted
