To make an appointment for the programs Behind the Book of Kells or The Book of Kells Experience, you may contact Michelle Price, or the Library's Office Manager, Lynn Seavy, at 585-385-8133.
The exhibit highlights a page, or folio (facing pair of pages), in the Book of Kells, as well as the decorative case made for the facsimile copy. A companion book that further explains the intricacies and history of the page is also on display. No reservations are required.
The exhibit is on the Main Level of the library and is open when the library is open. During January, June, July, and August the Book of Kells is removed from display to allow it to rest.
