When searching a publications website, use keywords from your topic. Sometimes you might need to use specific keywords. For example, you may need to search for a particular author (e.g., Maya Angelou), or search for a book by its title (e.g., Gender Queer: A Memoir). The example searches below show both broad keywords and a specific book.
Search Example #1
In the search field, enter: banned books. The list is nowhere near as large as a results list for the Big Rex Box. This is expected since we are only searching one publication. With this size list, and since it is sorted by relevance, it's worth scrolling through the list to review individual article titles. Watch the short video clip below to see this in action. Search Example #2
In the search field, enter: Gender Queer. The list is not large, so scrolling through the results and looking for articles related to this book title will work well. Watch the short video clip below to see this in action. This video contains no narration.
